President Pam Hilts spoke about Esther M. Diebold founder of the Diebold Insurance Agency. In 1929, Ester began selling car insurance out of her husband's car dealership. She was a good business women who was ahead of her time starting and running a buisiness when women were not necessarily recognized in the business world. She sold the agency in 1961 and retired. The business is still operating 97 years later in West Branch and continues to bare her name. Great presentation Pam! Reminds us that professional women have been making a difference in WB for a long time.
