A HUGE thank you to our 2026 Horseshoe Sponsors!

Please zoom in and check out these incredible businesses and individuals who generously support not only our farm, but so many others in our community!

These are GOOD people doing GOOD things, and they deserve our support in return!

Another long day of hard work on the farm… no overtime, no benefits, no paid vacations -they just work for food (veggies in this case)😜

Last Thursday we hosted a Wellness Fair for the SMS 7th grade class at the MyMichigan Wellness park. Several local businesses set up booths and taught the kids about different aspects of wellness, followed by a walk around the Wellness Park and ended with several kids getting picked to receive prizes for filling out Thank You cards to the booths and prize sponsors.
The Max-Well booth taught about lifestyle affordability (house, car and a hobby that they randomly drew from a hat) based on the career that they also drew from the hat…hoping to get their minds thinking about the future.

Thank you to all of the businesses who supported this event and keep coming back year after year-the kids had a great time and the weather was amazing!!
Next years date for this field trip is being set soon-if you want to be part of this please reach out to us!

Please help share this event…it’s for the babies ❤️

Some days we give the horses a break and go on a field trip to Clemens Dairy Farm.

The diary farm lesson: this should probably be common sense to most (except me😜): a cow has to have a baby to produce milk. 🤷‍♀️

I learned this year 2 at MSU… while going for my VETERINARIAN degree. I walked out of that Introduction to Dairy Management class right to my counselor and changed my major to Animal Science with a Business minor without question😆

Now I feel the need to make sure kids know this fact before they are adults!

You are welcome to those of you who also didn’t know this😆😆😆

I’m not a statistics person, and I can’t explain with words the how or why behind the difference horses and animals can make in someone’s life-my mind is too simple for complexity…
I just know I live for messages like this. 👇

From a teacher:
“She’s doing well, even as we learn new concepts. She has a great love for learning, is doing well with her peers, and looks to be making great connections. I can’t wait to watch her grow this year!”

And from her parent to me:
“It’s early in the school year, but this feels big! Thanks for helping us get here!! 🩷”

One kid at a time!!
