Small businesses who don’t just advertise but support ❤️🙌🏻
As we wrap up National Small Business Month, I want to take a moment to recognize and thank the small businesses that continually invest in our community.
Whether it's sponsoring youth sports teams, supporting 4-H auctions, donating to fundraisers, helping local clubs, or stepping up whenever there's a need, it often seems to be the same businesses answering the call time and time again. These businesses aren't just here to make a living—they're helping build the community we all get to enjoy.
In this photo, Shane from SRE Painting is hanging sponsor banners in our arena. These banners represent our MAJOR SPONORS that support our farm and our mission. While we receive our fair share of grant declinations (it is incredibly discouraging)—many from larger organizations—we can almost always count on our local businesses to do their part.
Their support helps create opportunities for our kids, strengthens local programs, and makes our community a better place to live. It doesn't go unnoticed.
So, the next time you need a service, contractor, supplies, or are looking to make a purchase, think about who is giving back to the community. The businesses whose prices may be a little higher are often the same ones sponsoring youth sports, supporting 4-H, donating to fundraisers, and investing in local organizations. When you support them, you're helping support our children, our community, and our future.
Thank you to all of the small businesses that continue to show up for our community. We appreciate you more than you know.
