What a great 15th Annual Soup & Chowder Fest we had last night. We would like to give a huge shout-out to Becky Potts, who literally coordinated the entire event! It was nice to see Lincoln Hall so full of happy faces - young and old, it was a wonderful community event. Everything went very smoothly thanks to all of our volunteers' hard work, whether it was serving, making a chowder, chili, soup, stew, bread, sandwiches, desserts or donations of beverages, this wouldn't have happened without each and every one of you.

Please remember to spread the word and support our local businesses who donated delicious food and refreshments for this event, as well as their time. We are grateful to Paisley's Farm and Greenhouse, Nason’s Stone House Farm, Benson’s Home Made Ice Cream, Boxford Community Kitchen, Boxford Animal Hospital, the Georgetown Cafe, Teresa's Farm, and Crosby's Marketplace for their generosity.

One common thread we all share is a love for this beautiful town and the people in it. This is just one of our events which brings people together, and cultivates a sense of community and pride. We are grateful to all of you for helping our little grass roots organization pull this off year after year. West Boxford Improvement Society Chowderfest is this Saturday, March 14th, 5:00-6:30 at Lincoln Hall, 563 Main St, Boxford! You won't find more fun or a better deal.... $15.00 all you can eat. Doors open at 5:00PM. Over 20 types of Chowders, Soups, Chilis and Stews (Vegan and GF options as well), breads, sandwiches and scrumptious desserts.
Come out of your burrows and catch up with old and new friends!

Do you have any old slides hanging around that you’d like to have digitized? We would like to give a big shout out to Dana George’s 11 year old son, who is a budding entrepreneur in Boxford. He has been digitizing film slides. Done professionally, this service costs, on average, between $.35 and $.50 per slide. If you have a need, he'll convert your slides and put them on an SD card for $.20 per slide. Preserve your precious memories and support a young entrepreneur! He does fantastic work, with a quick turn-around! Contact Dana George through the Boxford Residents page to set something up!

$10 drop-in fee (sign in at the table located in the rear of the room and place $10 in the bucket) ~ no commitment ~ please bring your mat ~ we provide blocks

Where: Lincoln Hall (upstairs), 563 Main Street (intersection of Route 133 and Main), Boxford. There's plenty of parking on the side and in the back. It's the perfect way to begin your week!
