The kids at Temple Israel in Michigan are thrilled with their puppy Lovies!

On March 12, a man drove a Ford F-150 through the southeast entrance of the synagogue shortly after noon, with the vehicle catching fire after security engaged. Over 100 children under age 5 were inside the building at the time. The FBI identified the attack as terrorism, with evidence indicating the suspect was motivated by Hezbollah and aimed to cause significant harm. Investigators found the truck contained multiple jugs of gasoline and fireworks meant to maximize damage.

While the building sustained damage to its entrance and classrooms, no civilians were injured. Security officials were credited with preventing further loss of life.

On April 20, teachers and students returned to the classroom. We welcomed them back with Lovies, stickers, and a parent guide.

Delivery day!!

We are so excited that the preschool children of Temple Israel in Michigan will be walking into their classroom today to be greeted by their incredible teachers and a new, special lovie for added comfort.

1. We are all just little boys and girls on the inside, with the same simple needs of love, comfort, and acceptance.
2. Being openly and radically yourself is a blessing to you, but also to the world. You have no idea the ways that who you are will connect, inspire and touch others.
3. ADULTS WITH TEDDIES ARE 100% A COMMON THING and actually I think more of you should have them. Reconnect with your inner child for real.
