Hi everyone. Hope your spring is getting underway and I’m sure you are ready to get out and see the green grass and buds on the trees. We are scheduled to have a warmer than normal spring with a mild drought.

It’s been a while since I posted anything so please foregive me but we have said “so long” to some old friends and neighbors as they have moved on and some “welcome!” Salutations to our new friends.

We have some home building going on and renovations. Good luck to you and can’t wait to see your concluded projects. Thanks for checking with the association by laws.

Regarding the association, it’s being maintained and we have paid our dues to the county for dust control for the year and taxes. We are cash positive but not by much. If everyone pays we are good but I have to keep asking so we can pay the bills. So far so good..

Critters to be aware of:

Coyotes have retreated to the golf courses and no dens of note by the river. Wild turkeys are abundant and living between the Knollwood and Franklin hills golf club on Inkster along the ravine.

The ravine is the life of the animals and they transverse it. Don’t be surprised if you see a rare animal or even something you are scared of. I’ve seen quite a bit of migratory birds and mammals (woodcock, sandhill cranes, great blue herons, red fox, rare ducks). Don’t be scared. Dog barks and allium family of flowers will keep the turkey and deer away from gardens. Keep planting and growing!

Finally, enjoy it. You’ve earned your small piece of heaven in our neighborhood. It’s rare and special. I hope this season finds you well and healthy. God bless!

Hi Everyone! Glad the roads are fixed and warm weather is here. Would everyone prefer to have a late summer get together? If you can host please let me know. Thanks! - Ben

I'll be sending out a note in the next month for those that have not paid Association Dues. The money goes to paying for the roads to be plowed and maintained along with taxes to pay for the land at the end of Glenway. If we fail to pay those taxes, WB Township can take ownership of that land and make it a through street.

Careful during the holidays for the active Deer. There are groups of them traveling the ravines and backyards.

Happy Holidays Everyone!

I had hoped for a meet and greet with everyone on Nov 3rd. That has been canceled.

In other news, the home on 6730 Glenway has been sold. Good for the neighborhood!

I am in conversation with WB Township about the street lights. I'll keep you updated as i know more. I have requested Oakland County Road Commission come and cut the wild grasses that are causing some issues with site on Glenway Dr.

Rain in the forecast for the next few days. Watch for the run offs in the ditches on the road.

Poison Ivy is on the loose again. Be careful when walking through to the southern subdivision at the end of Glenway Dr.
