🚨 Neighbors - Keep a look out for treatment signs this week. 🚨 Please be sure to follow all instructions related to the treatment. There will be a one day swimming restriction near our end of the lake. 🚨

📢 Upper Straits Lake – First Lake Treatment of 2026
The first lake treatment of the season is scheduled for Wednesday, June 3, weather permitting.

This treatment will target:
🌿 Eurasian milfoil
🟢 Algae control

Please review the treatment postings for specific treatment areas, water-use restrictions, and any additional details before using the lake.

Thank you for your cooperation as we work to maintain the health and enjoyment of Upper Straits Lake throughout the season.

Did you know? You can recycle boat wrap at several locations in WB for free. Free bags are available for pick up, then just stuff and drop off! Do your part!

This Saturday is the big day! It’s Opening Day! Come down between 9am and Noon to sign up for work hours, pay dues, and get your keys.

We will need your help all summer long! Sign up for a weekly clean up shift, or help organize one of our season favorite events! There is something for everyone and we need you!

Members, just a reminder… No one from the beach association will ever ask you to purchase gift cards for an organization or some other cause. Emails like this are sent out by online predators, using the names of your neighbors or other people you know.

This email was sent to one of our beach emails. We just wanted to make folks aware. Stay vigilant out there.

Join us this Saturday for our annual egg hunt! Bring your favorite bucket or basket and get to hunting. We will separate kids into age groups based on attendance. Come celebrate the season with your neighbors!

Summer officially came to a close on Monday. As a reminder to members, docks are being removed this Saturday, September 27. If you have a boat moored at the south “T” dock, it will need to be removed by end of day Friday so that our volunteers can work on the docks safely.
