A huge THANK YOU to Karen (in the white) for choosing to celebrate her birthday with us last night at our Free Hot Meal. She served so many men, women and children AND she brought a trunk full of donations! Thank you to Robin,Shyla and Brooke who joined her and helped spread some kindness and compassion to our guests. Thanks so much for the wonderful donation of diapers, wipes, cereal, snacks, peanut butter crackers and more to refill our shelves. Your generous spirit is such a blessing and we are so grateful for your support. ❤️

Meet Karen!
She chose to spend her birthday with us last night at our Free Hot Meal and she spent the evening serving men, women and children who came to enjoy the warmth and comfort of a home cooked meal. She also brought some members of her family to serve AND they brought donations!

Last night was incredible!
Our monthly Free Hot Meal moved down to Giovanni's Event Space, another beautiful venue (thank you Michelle Palmer!) and it was a huge success!
We had some amazing servers, some incredible trays of fabulous foods and lots of amazing desserts. We had toiletries, diapers and wipes along with some non perishable snacks and easy to make kid friendly food. We had Rita's Water Ice thanks to the McPeak family who own the shop in Berlin.
And we had the largest crowd we've ever served!
There were no leftovers!
We served everything and came home with just two small bags of toiletries and some diapers.
It was a wonderful night filled with community, fellowship, kindness and compassion.
It was everything Pete's Pantry strives to be.
Thank you to Michelle and your family for donating the beautiful venue space every single month.
Thank you to everyone who cooked for us.
Thank you to everyone who baked for us.
Thank you to everyone who served with us.
Thank you to the McPeak Family and Rita's Water Ice.

As part of our Free Hot Meal at Sabrina's this evening, we offer toiletries to those who attend because we know how expensive things like shampoo, body wash and deodorant can be.
We have everything packed up for tonight but our shelves are now a bit bare.
We are in need of the following:
🎉 Hair conditioner
🎉 Boys toothbrushes
🎉 Adult toothbrushes
🎉 Toothpaste
🎉 Body Wash
🎉 Ethnic hair products
These items can be found in Dollar General or any local store and we would truly appreciate any and all assistance you can provide.

WEDNESDAY, June 17th from 5:30-7:00pm.
All are welcome!
No ID required.
No proof of income.
No questions asked.
No judgement.
Just a nice hot meal for anyone who is hungry.
You can take it "to go" or eat in.
Times are hard, everything is expensive and people are struggling.
We just want to help.
Feel free to join us!
We will also have toiletries, diapers, wipes and some non perishable food available. ❤️
Would you like to help?
We would like to have some food items available for our guests to take with them, especially since the school year is almost over and kids will be home all day with no access to free breakfast or lunch.
Peanut butter, jelly, tuna, mayo, bread, Cup Noodles, macaroni & cheese, individually packed snacks.
If you would like to provide some goodies, please bring them to Sabrina's Event Space on Wednesday, May 27th at 5:00pm and add your items to our Sharing Table! We would be so grateful! ❤️

When we asked for a wheelchair for a young adult about to have surgery, we were blessed with not one, not two, but THREE wheelchairs AND a walker! That's the way it works around here! We are always abundantly blessed with whatever we need, whenever we need it.
Thank you to Raymond Morrisey and Christopher Yaworski for these incredible gifts. Ana Diaz is delivering one to the young woman today and the rest we have secure in our basement for when the next request comes in. We are so grateful for your kindness and generosity and we truly appreciate your support. ❤️

More SHENANIGANS!!
Today was about drop offs!
🌸 Last week we had the opportunity to meet Joshua Worrell when we dropped off donations that were collected by Pete's Pantry after his family lost everything in a house fire in Pine Hill. Today we got to meet his wonderful wife Lo Worrell when we dropped off a few more donations that came in. She was so appreciative of everything we've collected and we were so glad we were able to help.
🌸 We stopped by Baby Bundle Headquarters (Adrienne Nasuti McManis) and dropped off some supplies for the babies. We also dropped off yarn and crochet hooks for the Crochet Club Adrienne is going to start with the Twilight students at Lindenwold High School. The students are going to learn to make handmade baby blankets for our Baby Bundles! What a wonderful way to spread the love!
🌸 We paid a visit to our friend Georgia Caruso at Friends of Clementon food pantry and dropped off some reusable shopping bags and some non perishable food. They are preparing for their food distribution tomorrow night from 5-7pm at St. Mary's Episcopal Church.
It was a great day for beautiful things! ❤️

There's been a lot of SOCK SHENANIGANS this week!!
While we are anxiously awaiting a delivery of 10,000 Bombas socks (which had to be pushed back till September due to scheduling conflicts) we still have a few cases on hand and we love to share!
Our dear friend Ana Diaz took a case (250 pair!) and distributed some to Va. Clinic in Sewell and some to Veterans Haven Transitional Facility in Winslow. The veterans are always excited to receive new socks!
We also shared a case with Vicky Olson from Sonshine & Smiles and she split them between two Nursing Homes who requested socks! Half went to Atlas Rehabilitation and Healthcare in Deptford where she visited with the Activity Director and her Assistant. The other half will be going to Oasis at the Crescent in Pennsauken. Just like the veterans, the seniors love to receive new socks!
It was a great day for some SOCK SHENANIGANS! Thanks so much to Bombas for your incredible sock donations. Their motto is "when you buy a pair, we donate a pair" and we can tell you...they definitely do! Their generosity is incredible and we are so grateful for their kindness and support. ❤️
