The Washington County Campus Foundation (WCCF) is the official fundraising entity for the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee in Washington County.

Each year, the WCCF awards approximately $150,000 in scholarships to new freshman, returning and transferring students. Grants to faculty and staff support curricular innovation in fields ranging from Anthropology to Zoology.

AN UPDATE on the UWWC Archive Project will be given at Wildcat Fest! Under the direction of Jenna McWilliams, volunteers are cataloguing more than 50 years of UW-Washington County history.

Paul Price, Fred Luft, and Gary Britton are volunteering their time to catalogue the UWWC archives for the Tower Heritage Center, helping ensure that the stories, memories, and history of UW-Washington County are preserved for generations to come.

Paul, Gary and Fred will be at Wildcat Fest to give a brief update on the archive project!

The Washington County Charitable Foundation is pleased to report that a record-setting number of scholarship winners were present at the Chandelier Ballroom for the 2026–27 Scholarship Awards Event on May 18. Even with 40 more scholarship winners than last year, the ceremony stayed on schedule, just as it has in past years. A very heartfelt thank you goes out to everyone who made the event especially memorable this year, including our top-notch crew of volunteers led by Jane Maley, who flawlessly coordinated the flow of students throughout the presentation. The volunteer setup crew and event ushers included Pat Olsen, Judy Rupnow, Craig Hoeppner, Ruth Reines, Roger Choinsky, Shawn Graff, and Maggy Kuhn. In addition to their work with setup, Paul De Chant and Dennis Degenhardt were stellar, as always, serving as emcees for the event. Last but certainly not least, a huge thank you goes out to all of our scholarship donors and to Forte Bank for sponsoring this year’s awards ceremony.
