Spend the summer together!!

☀️ Summer camp season is almost here, and we’re kicking things off with one of our favorites… Mega Me Family Camp! Registration is filling FAST, and we only have room for 6 more families! 🎉

📅 June 28–July 1, 2026

Why should kids have all the fun? Mega Me Family Camp is the perfect way for families to experience the magic of summer camp together. Spend your days swimming, doing archery, making crafts, playing games, singing around the campfire, and making memories that last long after summer ends.

This year’s camp also includes dedicated kid programming AND separate adult programming, giving everyone a chance to recharge, connect, and have some fun of their own. Adult time, anyone? 👏

This week was the last 2025-2026 school year visit for our Hartford High School special education group. The students are 18-21 years old and are working on vocational skills. They help us vacuum, dust, and clean tables and chairs in the dining room. Our partnership has spanned 5 years, and we are thrilled that they will be returning next year.

We are proud that Cedar Valley is a safe space where they can learn and grow.

Much of the success in painting is established before a brush touches a canvas or pastel on paper. Taking time to think & plan will result in consistently better work. We will explore the elements that make up a painting & learn how to improve them. This is not a purely theoretical class! You will engage in many hands-on exercises that will enhance your artwork and help you express yourself more confidently.

Thinking of Cedar Valley, most people picture the iconic Great Spirit Chapel. This structure was installed during the winter of 1985 (a year before the lodge was built). The ground needed to be frozen to withstand the weight of the equipment needed to install the walls.

𝗕𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵 𝗧𝗿𝗲𝗮𝘀𝘂𝗿𝗲 𝗝𝗮𝗿 𝗕𝗮𝘀𝗸𝗲𝘁 - 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗶 𝗙𝗲𝘂𝘁𝘇: 𝗠𝗮𝘆 𝟯𝟬, 𝟵-𝟭𝟮 𝗽𝗺

Basket features a custom-made base & lid with a 3D printed sea urchin handle. The sides are woven with a continuous weave using the glass bowl as a guide. It is finished with a folded rim. Measures: 6" Diameter x 6 1/2” tall (7 1/2 " at handle).

All workshop supplies are included. COST: $30

Beki Borman is an amazing Milwaukee artist. Cedar Valley is excited to have her as an instructor!

An artist really learns to paint when given the freedom to let go of a subject & the expectations of a single painting. Painting the same subject ten times, students will learn experimentation & will be challenged to find ways to rediscover the subject. We will discuss topics such as color, value, style, method, history, and more!
