What was going on 40 years ago when Cedar Valley just began?

📺𝗢𝗽𝗿𝗮𝗵 𝗪𝗶𝗻𝗳𝗿𝗲𝘆: The iconic Oprah Winfrey Show made its national television debut.
🎥 𝗙𝗶𝗹𝗺: The cinematic classic Top Gun premiered in theaters.
🗽 𝗦𝘁𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗲 𝗼𝗳 𝗟𝗶𝗯𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆: The Statue of Liberty reopened to the public after a massive, multi-million-dollar restoration.
🎤 𝗜𝗰𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗰 𝗔𝗹𝗯𝘂𝗺𝘀: Groundbreaking music was released, including Paul Simon’s Graceland, Bon Jovi’s Slippery When Wet, and Peter Gabriel’s So.
☄ 𝗛𝗮𝗹𝗹𝗲𝘆'𝘀 𝗖𝗼𝗺𝗲𝘁: The famous comet made its once-in-a-lifetime (for most) 76-year pass by Earth.

We had an OUTSTANDING May. Our spaces were filled with variety... Church groups, Quilters, Writers, Airbnb Guests & Workshops in our Art Studio.

We love opening our doors to so many unique people!

The Sew Much More Waukesha, and Madison WI Spring Quilting Retreat at Cedar Valley was butterfly-themed this year. This quilting retreat also donates items to sell in our gift shop... how amazing is that!

What a fun group. See you in the fall.

Our Log House & Hundred Acre Haven Airbnbs bring people from all over. Some are traveling to spend time with family, others are visiting WI for a wedding, or are in the area for one of WI's amazing events. We receive wonderful notes & sometimes treats!

A HUGE THANK YOU GOING OUT!
Fourteen volunteers from Froedtert & the Medical College of Wisconsin came to Cedar Valley to help us get ready for summer. They cleaned out planting beds and potted planters, planted our vegetable patch, weeded, and split/moved perennials. The impact of their work totaled 56 hours and almost $1950.00!!

We’re excited to officially share the brand new UCCI website! 🎉

The new site makes it easier to explore camps, retreats, events, stays, and all three of our beautiful locations: Moon Beach, Daycholah Center, and Cedar Valley.

As with any new website launch, there may still be a few things we’re adjusting behind the scenes. If you notice an error or something that doesn’t seem to be working correctly, please let us know. We appreciate your patience as we continue fine-tuning everything.

Much of the success in painting is established before a brush touches a canvas or pastel on paper. Taking time to think & plan will result in consistently better work. We will explore the elements that make up a painting & learn how to improve them. This is not a purely theoretical class! You will engage in many hands-on exercises that will enhance your artwork and help you express yourself more confidently.
