is a 501c3 organziation completely run by volunteers who are dedicated to finding responsible, loving homes for ex- racing greyhounds. We support Long Island, Brooklyn, Queens, Manhattan Staten Island and parts of NJ. All the ex racers that come to LIGC go directly into foster homes

Retired Racing Greyhound Adoption

Long Island Greyhound Connection is a 501 c 3 non profit ex racing greyhound adoption group. We are a small 100% volunteer group that rehomes retired NGA racing greyhounds only. Our volunteers have over 100 years of combined greyhound experience. LIGC does not have a kennel, all of our dogs are in foster homes with other greyhounds until they are adopted. If you are interested in adopting, please fill out an application on our website.
