The postal service pretty much disagrees that grievances should be filed for them delaying mail. They want to be nice and call it curtailing but let's call it what it really is...intentionally delaying mail to "save money".

Yesterday, Kevin McCaa, the man convicted of murdering our brother and fellow letter carrier Aundre Cross, was sentenced to 38 years in federal prison.

While justice has been served, 38 years will never bring Aundre back to his family, friends, or the coworkers who knew him at Hampton Station.

Aundre went to work that day to do his job and provide for his family. Just like thousands of letter carriers do every single day. Unfortunately, he never made it home.

Nobody should ever have to worry about losing their life simply for doing their job.

My thoughts and prayers continue to be with Aundre's family, friends, and everyone who knew him.

Aundre may be gone, but he will never be forgotten by his brothers and sisters of NALC Branch 2.

Rest in peace, Brother Aundre. 🙏

Management in the Milwaukee Installation is doubling down again and holding back mail and packages to prevent penalty overtime. Carriers are continuing to receive messages on their scanners to be off the clock in 8hrs or 10hrs and to return all mail.
