First Tee - Southeast Wisconsin First Tee is a non-profit, youth development organization, that uses golf to teach life skills Each lesson is designed to be fun, interactive and engaging.

At First Tee, we work with experts in a variety of fields to deliver junior golf programs that are proven to have a positive influence on kids and teens. Our coaches follow a philosophy centered on positively reinforcing your child’s actions and ensuring a great experience. First Tee coaches seamlessly weave golf and character building activities into each lesson. As your child progresses through

First Tee programs, the activities and life lessons become more involved, helping your child build character and become even more equipped to make good choices on and off the golf course.

Another school year in the books. In 112 schools across Southeast Wisconsin, our school program brought golf and life skills to over 44,000 young people this year, and we couldn't be prouder of every teacher and student that made it possible.

By equipping PE teachers with the curriculum, equipment, and training to bring golf into their classrooms, we're introducing kids to a lifelong sport while building the social-emotional skills and healthy habits that extend far beyond the game.

From the classroom to the course.

Earlier this month, we partnered with Milwaukee High School of the Arts for a two-day clinic that brought golf to more than 370 students on their campus. From there, 50 students made their way to Noyes Park Golf Course for putting contests, range time, and for many of them, their first time ever playing a hole of golf.

We had a great night at American Family Field last week!

To celebrate First Tee Week, we took our families out to the ballpark for a Brewers game and it did not disappoint. From the tailgate to the final out, it was a special evening spent with our incredible community.

This is what First Tee Week was all about: celebrating the coaches, families, and young people who make this program what it is. We are so grateful for every single one of you.

This week is First Tee Week (May 23-30), and this year's theme is "Dear Coach," a celebration of the coaches who show up week after week and make a real difference in the lives of young people right here in Southeast Wisconsin. It’s Day 6 of First Tee Week, and Beckett and Anderson have a message for Coach Tom. Both have been participants at First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin programming since 2018 and we are so grateful to have watched them grow into the young men they are today.

The 2026 Summer Stampede is June 11 and Alex Friedrich, First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin supporter and Outreach Committee member, is still thinking about his first one.

We asked Alex what keeps him coming back to First Tee — Southeast Wisconsin events. Here's what he said: "It's a chance to give back to the game of golf locally while spending time with people who share similar values. Welcoming, social, and genuinely fun — whether you come to compete or just enjoy the course, you feel included right away."

Everyone plays together as one big group in an alternate shot format until sunset — paired with someone new, advancing down the course together. It's golf, but not like you've played it before. The 2026 Summer Stampede is June 11 at Greenfield Park Golf Course. $30 gets you golf, a drink ticket, and a sleeve of balls.
