We have to have a building to keep the Hope Ministries going! Right now, we have a leaky roof that is desperately in need of repair. Come and help us raise money for this cause - all while enjoying a DELICIOUS homemade spaghetti dinner for only $10.00! TOMORROW, MAY 2nd, from 4:30 - 7:00 pm. It’s really super cold outside!! Imagine if your family had to stay with friends and sleep on the floor because you didn’t have your own home. Imagine if you were living in an RV, or even in your car. Imagine if you were in an apartment but there was no insulation and the wind came right through the cracks in the windows. These are situations that our Hope Ministries families are experiencing right now. So…. Let’s make some blankets!! Join us this Saturday at Mt. Hope (8633 W Becher) at 1:00 pm to make fleece tie blankets. Please bring two pieces of fleece in complimentary colors - 2 to 2 1/2 yards long. If you’ve never done this before, we will show you how! Let me know if you have any questions. And remember - we always accept clean, used blankets as well! When you warm someone with a blanket, you will also give them HOPE because you are showing that you care. ❤️

On Saturday we have our most exciting day of the year at the Hope Ministries! We will be giving out hundreds of gifts for our Hope Ministries children. Last year we had 65 volunteers and we need at least that this year to keep this operation running smoothly. Can you help? We need personal shoppers who take the parents around, help them choose gifts for kids, and label them with sticky notes. If you would like this job, please let me know. We still need a couple more personal shoppers. AND - we need wrappers!! Lots of wrappers! We wrap every gift that goes out, working in teams. If you are able to help, come to Mt Hope by 9:00 if you are a shopper, 9:15 if you are a wrapper. It is a joyous day! If you come, I guarantee you will leave with a warm heart and a smile on your face! ❤️🎄🥰

Holy cow! Thanksgiving just ended and Christmas is right around the corner! 🎄We are collecting toys and gifts for our Hope Ministries children, ages 0-16. Last year we gave out over 1,250 gifts and this year we expect to give out more than 1,500!! Can you help? Suggested items are baby toys, cars and trucks, dinosaurs, action figures, dolls, Barbies, legos and other building blocks, make up or nail kits, wallets, shaving kits, speakers for phones, hair straighteners, hair dryers, or anything that looks fun for a kid to play with!

Gifts can be dropped off in the church parking lot (8633 W Becher)between 10 and noon on Saturday. You can also bring them on Monday or Thursday next week between 10 and noon.

Help us make this a happy Christmas for kids who have had a tough year! ❤️

What an amazing response we had to our Hope Ministries food drive last weekend!! Our hearts are full at the response we received from the community. ❤️ We have collected what we need to fill 160 Thanksgiving dinner boxes; plus the shelves in our pantry are currently full! We could not do this without the support of our families, friends, and neighbors. Thank you to all who donated food and funds - you have given HOPE to families who really need that during this holiday season. ❤️🦃🙏🏽🥰

Update on our friend, Deb, who has been missing for well over a week. Although it can’t be confirmed due to privacy issues, we are fairly certain that she has been hospitalized. Praise the Lord! We pray that she is safe and that she is receiving the help she needs. 🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽
