Today, members of The Rotary Club of West Allis took some time to pick up trash along the Hank Aaron State Trail, from 101st Street to 124th Street. More than 10 bags of trash were removed!

Thanks to for allowing us to park near the trail! And a shout out to Kwik Trip for the donuts and Valentine Coffee for the breakfast for our volunteers. And finally, thanks to and West Allis Cheese & Sausage Shoppe for the post-event Bloody Mary supplies! It was a beautiful day to beautify the neighborhood and enjoy a couple of Bloody Mary’s outside with civic-minded friends!

Dear Mason Pooler,

This is a reminder that we are meeting tomorrow (Saturday, April 13) at 10:00 AM for the Hank Aaron Trail Clean Up. We will be meeting in the parking lot of Playtime Doggy Daycare, located at 528 S. 108 St. Look for the turn for Northern Tool, and turn there. This is directly across Highway 100, from Colders. We will have all of the necessary supplies. All are welcome to help. The more people, the faster we get done.
