Camp Ammon, BSA is a distinctive service camp located at the Wisconsin State Fair Park in West Allis, WI. Running annually during the Wisconsin State Fair, Camp Ammon allows you freedom, fun and the opportunity to explore new friendships. At Camp, you can enjoy sand volleyball, dances, movies, an above ground swimming pool, video games and more. Focusing on service, you will gain a unique perspective of the Wisconsin State Fair — including access to concerts and main stage shows, interaction with fairgoers, the Fair administration and more. A minimal registration fee provides you with the Camp Ammon uniform shirt, hat, lodging, meals and entertainment. Sponsored by the Boy Scouts of America – registered Boy Scouts, Explorer and Venturing Scouts ages 13 to 17 are invited to join the party ... the experience... of Ammon!

Missing camp? By show of likes, if we did a camp Ammon reunion get together next August 21, 2027 (Tom Herbert’s Birthday) who would be able to attend? Venue tbd based on attendees but in the Milwaukee area. To keep the service camp spirit alive I was hoping the event could double as a honor flight fundraiser in Tom’s memory. Let me know if you are interested, we’ve got a year to plan!
