We know we will see many familiar faces at the Jamboree! We hope you enjoy time with your friends and families at this event. Our community may be small but we are MIGHTY!

As we prepare for another great Jamboree in West Alexandria, we want to remind everyone that this event is only possible because of our entire community's support and cooperation.

Please help us make this a safe and enjoyable event for everyone by respecting road closures, detour signs, emergency access areas, and event staff directions. As rides and attractions are set up, we also ask that everyone avoid climbing on equipment or entering restricted areas when the carnival is closed.

Safety is our top priority, especially for our children, families, visitors, and the crews working hard to bring this event together. A little patience and courtesy go a long way as we navigate increased traffic, temporary street closures, and busy sidewalks throughout the week.

A special thank you to our Celebration Committee, whose hard work and dedication make this event possible each year. Their countless hours of planning and coordination help bring our community together for a tradition we all enjoy.

Thank you for helping us keep the Jamboree fun, safe, and welcoming for everyone.

Today our Team wanted to bless our 𝒓𝒆𝒕𝒊𝒓𝒊𝒏𝒈 elementary teachers at South. We thank you for your dedication over the years to teach, plant seeds, encourage, and inspire so many lives. We hope you enjoy this upcoming chapter in life; we hear retirement is GREAT! 🙌🏻

🥴PHEW! 🎉 WHAT. A. GREAT. DAY! 🎊

The number 1️⃣ volunteer team in town took on questions, ice creams, Jeopardy, and a prize store for students to spend the points they've earned over the year!

The 🫧 🫧 were such a FUN way for us to welcome our kiddos for the last time this school year! ❤️💛❤️💛

📢 We want to take a minute to appreciate our Elementary Teacher this week during Teacher Appreciation Week 🌟

Mr. Doug is a rock star 🤩 and has been one of the biggest blessings for our program. He has a heart for the Lord and he LOVES what he does as a LifeWise Teacher. The kids love him and they appreciate his kindness, humor, animated stories, and especially his tour guide antics on the bus rides 🚌 when he stepped in to ALSO be our bus driver!

Yes, you read that right! He is a qualified CDL and school bus driver so he answered the call when we were in need. He picked the kids up, taught class, and drove them back.....5 times....every Monday.... for months!

Thank you Doug Morgan for being servant-minded, a great example for the team and kids, and for giving your whole heart for our program! We love you and we appreciate all that you do!

Getting in our bibles today and reading Phillippians 4:13 which says, "I am able to do all things through him who strengthens me" (CSB) while we continued to learn about Elijah running from Jezebel.

Next week is our LAST day and it's PARTY day! We can't wait! See you then!

Who can put our ❤️ together after it has been divided? GOD can! (We tried...but clearly, we struggled a bit 🤣)

Upon arrival, kids were welcomed with a false god telling them to worship him....but our kiddos all knew better! We don't worship false gods or idols, only the One True God! 🙌🏻

Today we learned about Solomon and what happened when he allowed his heart to be divided 💔

King Solomon may have failed God's people and were in need of a better king 👑 so God provided the King of kings through the lineage of David - JESUS! 🙌🏻
