Sharing and showcasing several of the District 12 Officers taking apart in One Day 4-H! Through the generosity, teamwork, and dedication of our members and families, we assembled 125 bags filled with food items, totaling 500 meals, to help fight food insecurity among children in our local community.

"If you were to have asked the same small skinny boy from Starr County who didn’t feel comfortable growing up in 4-H, where he would be in 9 years he would not believe the person District 12 has made him. My name is Diego Geronimo Guerra and I currently serve as the District 12 4-H Council 1st Vice President. My time with the program has opened so many new doors. Through competing at my local Food Show to giving a presentation at the U.S. Pentagon for the D.O.D, District 12 4-H has made many changes on myself. Through District 12 4-H I have been able to network with other individuals throughout the district, establish community service District wide, and take on leadership positions that require a genuine commitment. Overall, District 12 has shaped me in order to become an individual who will lead with a heart and serve with a purpose." - Diego Guerra, District 12 1st Vice President
