For years, KTEX's JoJo Cerda has been using his voice to wake up the Rio Grande Valley. Now he's using his voice to share his story of waiting for a second kidney transplant to push more people toward organ donation.

His message to anyone considering registering to be an organ donor is simple.

"If your heart, if you're convicted to donate, do it. If you're healthy enough, do it. That's special knowing that you can save the life of someone," Cerda said.
