Whether you’re a foster parent, adoptive parent, kinship caregiver, or simply want to learn more about trauma-informed care, these podcasts are a wonderful place to start.

Support like this is what allows us to continue showing up for foster, adoptive, and kinship families when they need us most.

Our Board of Directors thoughtfully decided to put this gift to work by:
🍋 Donating $250 toward our Lemonade Stand War prize fund (which kicks off in just 2 days—don’t forget to sign up and let your kids make a difference this summer!)
🏡 Investing in our Respite & Family Events Fund, helping provide much-needed support and connection for local families.
💙 Contributing to our Rent Buddy Fund, helping keep the doors of our Village Closet open so we can continue serving children and families in our community.

Every child deserves to feel celebrated on their birthday. 💙

This week, we’re hoping our Village can help make that happen for a very special 7-year-old boy who is experiencing a lot of change right now.

We’re collecting new, unwrapped birthday gifts to remind him that he is seen, valued, and loved. 🎁

🎉 June Respite Event Registration is OPEN! 🎉

We’re so excited to partner with Sky Zone for our June Respite Event!

📅 Saturday, June 27
🕓 4:00–6:00 PM
👧 Ages 4–12 (Limited to 30 children and must be potty trained)

Foster parents, enjoy a well-deserved break while your kiddos jump, play, and have fun with our amazing volunteers! Pizza will be provided.

Important:
✅ A signed Sky Zone waiver is required (link will be sent after registration).
👕 Children must wear their ITAV/Sky Zone shirt.
💧 Please bring a reusable water bottle filled with water.

Spots are limited and fill quickly, so register soon! We can’t wait to see everyone there! 💙

💙 Another tiny villager was welcomed with a little extra support this week.

We were able to help a foster family caring for a 5-pound baby boy by providing:
🍼 Bottles
🧷 Diapers & wipes
👕 Baby clothes
🧺 Blankets
🥫 Formula
🐥 A few comfort items for this sweet little guy

When foster families receive a placement, they often have very little time to prepare. Because of your donations, we can help make sure children have some of the essentials they need from day one.

💙Another foster family needed help this weekend, and thanks to our Village, we were able to step in.

This family first connected with us through one of our respite events. Last night, they received an emergency placement that arrived with nothing and needed items immediately.

We packed a bag of essentials to help get them through the weekend and provide a few basics for whatever comes next.

This is why the Village Closet exists. Foster families often get little to no notice when a child is placed in their care, and having a community ready to help can make all the difference.

Thank you to everyone who donates, volunteers, and supports our mission. Because of you, when the call comes, we can say “yes, we can help.”
