Our success in St. Jude's Fundraising Events:

Miracle Minutes: Raised over $850 in the combined three miracle minutes hosted.

DECA Store: Raised about $350 in selling Ozark Delight Lollipops and in the St. Jude's Donation Coke Bottle.

Pie Eating Contest: Fun Middle School DECA activity during Thanksgiving to spread the word about St. Jude's and our Miracle Minutes/5K.

St. Jude's Spooky Hollow 5K: Raised around $2000 in our 5K.

Here our members really engaged in learning how to work as a team, build leadership skills, and collaborating with the school and business people. Ultimately, this event created real world experiences in learning how to not only gain partnerships, donations, and sponsorship's within businesses, but also how to maintain the partnership and help the business or sponsor out when needed. A lot of tedious and dedicated work was put into this event but the outcome in spreading the message of St. Jude's and seeing the light spread throughout the communities eyes was unforgettable.

Due to our page recently being started, we want to give you all an insight to what we have done this past year:

Halloween Night - our students created a fun environment for our trick-or-treat kiddos to come in, play games, and win candy.

Ice Cream Apprentice - Advanced Marketing students created their own booths and themes for selling ice cream and market it accordingly to their personal selling tactics. The money raised here goes towards the students who advance to Internationals in Orlando, Florida.

Holt DECA Store - We received Gold Certification in honor of Missouri DECA. Our store members learned how to market and sell to different target audiences and maintain good customer service. All profits here go towards our International competitors as well.

Dress for Success - Professional dress attire and accessories were collected to give to Marygrove and Pish - helping individuals get back onto their feet and into the interview stage again. Over 1000 articles of clothing were collected, half consisting of professional dress.

Cookies for the Community - Our members went around to our communities first responders during Thanksgiving to thank them for their dedication and service to us.

Adopt a Family - During Christmas our DECA members donated and wrapped gift items for a family in need to give them the best Christmas yet.
