Meet Officer Jett 👮‍♂️

Officer Jett brings 20 years of law enforcement experience to North Point Middle School and has proudly served as our School Resource Officer since Officer Mel’s retirement last year.

Throughout his career, Officer Jett has experienced nearly every side of law enforcement, including corrections, patrol, narcotics, undercover work, SWAT, and the court system. He is also an Air Force veteran and former college baseball player.

Of all the different roles he has held, Officer Jett is especially excited about the opportunity he has at NPMS.

He believes the middle school years are a sweet spot for building positive relationships between kids and law enforcement. At this age, students are beginning to make decisions and develop habits that can follow them into adulthood. Officer Jett loves having the opportunity to connect with them now, to be a positive influence, build trust, and hopefully help guide them toward good choices before bad habits have a chance to become permanent.

For him, being an SRO isn't just about keeping our school safe. It's about relationships and making an impact.

Outside of school, Officer Jett is a husband and dad who loves sports and enjoys playing golf. With a background in college baseball, it's safe to say he's always up for a little friendly competition!

We're excited to have Officer Jett as part of the NPMS Grizzly family and look forward to our students and families getting to know him even better this year! 🐻💙🧡

⏰ Wednesday Dismissal Reminder for NPMS Families

A quick heads-up for this school year: Wednesday dismissal times may change from week to week!

There are three different dismissal schedules that could apply on a Wednesday:

🏫 Regular dismissal time
⏰ 68-minute early release
⏰ 2-hour early release

Because the schedule can vary, please make sure you check the Wentzville School District academic calendar for the correct dismissal time each week. FOR EXAMPLE...NEXT MONTH WILL HAVE ALL THREE.

The NPMS PTA page is run and monitored entirely by parent volunteers. We will do our very best to post reminders and help keep everyone informed, but we don't want anyone relying solely on our posts when making transportation or pickup arrangements.

For the most accurate and up-to-date information, the district website, academic calendar, and official emails from the school should always be your go-to sources.
