Wenonah Environmental Commission The Wenonah Environmental Commission maintains 120 acres of conservation land and over 6 miles of hiking trails in southern New Jersey, USA.

The Wenonah Environmental Commission supports hiking trail maintenance and land conservation activities in the Borough of Wenonah, located in southern New Jersey, USA near Philadelphia. Residents and visitors can enjoy access to the woodlands and marshes surrounding Mantua Creek, as well as various lakes and streams which feed into it. These resources are maintained with volunteer labor, donations, grants, and a small annual appropriation from the Borough. Volunteer Opportunity:

Wenonah Environmental Commission is working to remove invasive species from the Tea House area and along the Comey's Lake area.

Work crews will meet at the Tea House to remove wisteria English ivy and other problematic plants on Wednesdays from 5:30-7:00 pm on September 23, 30, October 7 and 14.

Please join us for one or all of the evenings as we work to preserve our woods and trails for the future.
