Great start to a new Scouting year. Special thanks to Wenham Fire Dept and we learned more about how they serve our community. We also welcomed Mr. Snyder as the new Cubmaster of Pack 28 and thanked Mr. Bailey for his service to Pack 28.

Many of our Scouts come from Buker Elementary School and/or live in Wenham but we welcome scouts who go to other schools and live in surrounding towns. Our scouts are boys in 1st through 5th grades. We have a number of activities the scouts really enjoy such as our annual fishing derby, Topsfield Fair parade, our annual rocket shoot/campout, and everyone’s favorite, the Pinewood Derby. We also take local hikes and go on overnight outings. Last year, we had an overnight at a hockey game, we overnighted aboard the USS Salem (2018), Museum of Science (2017) - special trips like these are not covered by the annual membership fee. We are looking at doing an overnight this year aboard the USS Massachusetts at Battleship Cove or returning to the Museum of Science. We participate in Wenham’s Veteran’s Day observance and Memorial Day parade. The scouts partipate in service projects such as the delivery of Wenham Town Reports and last year delivered pointsettias to the elderly - these activities allow the scouts an opportunity to serve others even at a young age.
Fees are $135 per year and include a subscription to Boys Life.
We typically meet or have an activity on a monthly basis and most of our meetings at held at the Wenham Scout Barn at Iron Rail, 91 Grapevine Road, Wenham.
