Mpaka Mpaka is a nonprofit working to support the Ugandan people through teaching and practicing architecture and medicine, and doing community health outreach

Mike and I are not traditional missionaries. He is an architect and I’m a doctor, and we are both passionate about teaching what we do. We each fell in love with East Africa before we fell in love with each other in our 20’s. After we were well trained and established in our careers, we decided to move our family to Uganda. We have been working as volunteers with Uganda Christian University since

2011, teaching and practicing architecture and medicine, and doing community outreach projects. We love what we do!
