Thank you for your continued support of our foundation. We sincerely appreciate those of you who donate monthly or quarterly or occasionally to help us bring water to those who desperately need it.

We were blessed to be able to meet as a board in person last month when Pastor James, along with his wife, joined us in America. We are currently waiting on surveys for two locations in Kenya and hope to begin the quote and drilling process very soon. We also have another location that we continue to pray about as we continue to wait on the Lord’s perfect timing.

Please keep our foundation in your prayers, particularly for these upcoming projects. We thank you for your support! 💦

Greetings from “the waiting”. Probably the hardest and most refining part of ministry. We are praying through several things and would appreciate your prayers. We use a specific formula to determine where we drill next based on the number of people the well would serve, distance from other water sources etc and we are walking through this process now. While things don’t always happen as fast as I (Stephanie) would like, I am calmed by knowing it’s all in God’s timing.
As always, we are so thankful for the individuals and businesses that support us financially monthly or periodically throughout the year. Thank you for allowing God to use you in this way. ♥️

We are so excited to share that just this week, crews in Kenya have been hard at work in two locations…one we previously shared here several days ago and one in Empuinkat. The solar panels were added a week or so ago and this week they have added the tank.

The well has been drilled in Ekonerei and last week the solar panels and pump were installed. Water is now readily available for anyone in the community! Three of our Board Members will be traveling there next month to commission the well and celebrate with the community!

It’s been a while since we have updated but it certainly isn’t because we have been still. We have found that a lot of ministry work is “hurry up and wait”.

We currently have two well sites that we intend to drill on soon in Kenya. We have surveys and quotations for both of these and are currently waiting on the necessary permits to begin drilling.

We are in contact with an organization in Guatemala that is in the process of obtaining a drill rig and hope to get a quote from them since the previous quote from a local company was higher than anticipated.

Please continue to pray for these three future projects and that God would have us complete these in His timing and help us to WAIT while we really just want the process to HURRY UP. 😃

Thanks for your continued prayers and financial support! (Pictured below is a church our team visited in 2023 and is one of the two future well sites coming soon)

Last year one of the wells we drilled was for Utini Secondary School in Kenya. This week one of our Board Members, Pastor Nicholas Muteti of Forestville Baptist Church Wake Forest, took several members of his church to visit the area. Yesterday they had a service at the well site and this was his amazing update:

“The place has been transformed! It looks like Paradise. 12 people gave their lives to Jesus yesterday. We were there on Friday and Joyce taught women, Jonathan our Young adult Sunday school teacher with Debra taught the young adults, Nancy and another lady from Church taught kids and my self with two guys from Church taught the men. Yesterday we Launched Utini Evangelical Missionary Baptist Church! Glory to God! Baptist Convention of Kenya local Association there send a new pastor and was brought by 10 other Baptist Pastors!”

Please pray for Pastor Nicholas and his group as well as community members of this area. We would also appreciate prayers for upcoming projects in Kenya and Tanzania and Uganda. 💧

Drilling began yesterday at our next site at Olepolos Village in Kenya, Africa. We are waiting for word on how drilling has gone today and praying water is found for this precious community.

A little update…
Our driller in Burnsville, NC took on the burden of half of our dry hole so we are thankful for saving money in that effort which will allow us to serve there at a later date or in a neighboring community. We continue to pray for opportunities and are in frequent communication with the church we drilled for. They are still deciding if they want to dig an additional well or how they will proceed.

Also, we are waiting for permits to begin drilling at another location in Kenya. More details to follow.

We thank you for your financial support and your continued prayers. ♥️

Hello there! Just wanted to give everyone an update about the well drilling in Burnsville, North Carolina. Our drilled went to 800 feet deep and did not encounter any water. We are praying over and discussing the next steps to take. Obviously this is not ideal but this happened to us once before in Kenya. In that instance we were able to move locations a bit and find water. While it was initially devastating for the community, we firmly believe that God lead us to the new location for a specific purpose.
As several of our board members are in the water well drilling business, we are usually on the other side of things and tell people only the Lord knows where the groundwater is. Times like this help us to put ourselves in the shoes of our customers and gives us a different perspective. For that, I am grateful.
We praise the Lord in the abundance and in the lack. We praise Him on the mountaintop and in the valley.
