The vision for the Messiah sing-along is to come together as a community and celebrate Christmas.

A sing-along in December is a joyful, participatory way to mark Advent or kick off the holiday season.

Unlike a formal concert where only professionals perform, a sing-along welcomes everyone—trained singers, casual shower-singers, children, seniors, people who don’t normally attend church, etc. It creates a powerful sense of “we’re all in this together,” often across denominational, cultural, or even religious lines.

While the text is scriptural, the music is so universal that Jewish, Muslim, atheist, and agnostic singers often participate.

Standing with hundreds of community members to belt out the Hallelujah Chorus is an exhilarating experience. People often describe it as “goosebump-inducing” or “a natural high.”

Our hope is that the Messiah sing-along will bring all members of our community closer together and enjoy the holiday season.

The song-along will be on December 6th at 7pm at Wenatchee High School. It is FREE, and all are welcome.

To follow the admonition of Christ, the sing-along has partnered with Chelan Douglas Community Action Council to help raise food and money with the specific goal of working together as a faith community to help their food market have enough volunteers and food to be open 5 extra days leading up to the holidays.
