🎉 A Birthday Trip to Remember! 🎉

On August 15, Henry enjoyed a long-awaited birthday adventure to Seattle, and it was a day filled with excitement, fun, and great memories!

The day included a stop at the Espresso Chalet, where Henry had a blast taking pictures with the famous Sasquatch wood carvings. From there, he headed to Kenmore Lanes, where he bowled four games and enjoyed chicken strips and fries for lunch. Although the pro shop was closed and he couldn't pick up a bowling souvenir, the fun didn't stop there!

Henry also visited Outdoor Emporium to check out fishing gear and explore one of his newest interests. His love for fishing was on full display as he proudly showed off the fishing magazine he selected and purchased.

The highlight of the day was attending a Seattle Seahawks game, something Henry had been looking forward to for quite some time. A special thank you to our amazing staff Edgar for helping make this birthday wish a reality and creating a day full of smiles, laughter, and unforgettable experiences. 💙🏈🎳🎣

🎉 Please help us congratulate Daniel on his new job at Amazon!

Daniel has been doing an amazing job and is now proudly working two jobs, one at Buddies Café and one at Amazon! When he isn’t working or making delicious coffee, Daniel enjoys karate classes, Monster Hunter, Dungeons & Dragons, video games, and anything involving dragons. 🐉☕🎮

Daniel is a polite, hardworking, and all-around amazing guy. We are so proud of him and can’t wait to watch him continue to succeed. Congratulations, Daniel! 📦💙

The party was completely decked out in awesome 80s memorabilia for a total "Back to the 80s" theme. And, of course, Godfathers Pizza came through and was delicious as always!

Congratulations to Ben on his first day at Safeway in Leavenworth! 🎉

Ben grew up in Cashmere and is excited to be back in the community after spending time in Bellevue. As he begins this new job, he's looking forward to getting back into the workforce, meeting new people, and serving the community he calls home.
Ben is a familiar face around the valley. He loves sports and can often be found cheering on local teams at Cashmere games or catching an AppleSox game whenever he gets the chance. He's also a dedicated Seattle Mariners fan! Known for his great sense of humor and goofy personality, Ben enjoys making people smile and bringing laughter to those around him. Above all, he is kind, hardworking, and always willing to lend a helping hand.

Our Vocational Services team is incredibly proud of the effort and determination Ben has shown in reaching this point. We are excited to see him grow, learn, and succeed in his new role.

We had an amazing time celebrating his special day with a party at Red Robin. There were plenty of smiles, great food, and fantastic company—safe to say, everyone had an absolute blast making memories together.

What a perfect day for our Yearly Mission Vista BBQ! ☀️ We couldn’t have asked for better weather—nothing but beautiful blue skies and sunshine all day long.
We had an amazing turnout this year, and the energy was through the roof thanks to our awesome DJ keeping the great music rolling. The dance floor was packed, people were shouting out requests left and right, and there was so much singing and dancing!
Of course, you can't have a BBQ without incredible food. Everyone piled their plates high with pulled chicken and pulled pork sandwiches, plus all the fixings.
A huge thank you to Buddies Coffee for hanging out with us! They were incredibly kind to everyone and kept us fueled with amazing coffee.
Between the music, the food, and all the games, our clients had an absolute blast. It was so wonderful to see everyone laughing, playing, and making memories together. Thank you to everyone who came out, helped out, and made this year's BBQ so incredibly special!

🚴‍♂️ Rolling with the Punches on the Loop Trail!

Took two of our awesome clients out for a bike ride on the loop trail, and let’s just say it was an adventure from the start!
We ran into a few classic trail hurdles—from dialing in some brake adjustments to tackling an unexpected flat tire—which ultimately forced us to cut the ride a little short. But a bit of mechanical trouble couldn't dampen the mood! 🛠️

Ace was leading the charge on his brand-new eBike, completely saving the day with his built-in storage setup. Seriously, he had every single tool you could ever need in a pinch! On top of being our resident mobile mechanic, he brought the vibes by blasting some great tunes from his Bluetooth speaker truck while we rode.

Meanwhile, Cristian was busy knocking the dust off his own bike. After spending a long time sitting in the garage, it was fantastic to see it back out on the pavement and rolling smooth.
Despite the shortcuts, everyone had an absolute blast while it lasted, and we are already mapping out the next adventure.
🌲 Next stop... Leavenworth trails! Here we come! 🏔️

Join us for an afternoon of food, music, games, and fun in the sun with staff, clients, families, and friends!

We had a great day out at Silverwood Theme Park!

Staff and clients headed out together for a memorable road trip, traveling in two passenger vans that were filled with energy and excitement from the start. Once we arrived, everyone split off to enjoy the day in their own way—some clients were all about the rides, while others preferred a slower pace, walking around and taking in the scenery.
Silverwood provided lunch for everyone, which included hot dogs, chips, and a drink for both staff and clients—simple, classic, and much appreciated during a busy day in the park.
The weather kept things interesting with rain and even a bit of hail at times, but it didn’t slow anyone down or dampen the mood. Clients stayed positive and continued enjoying every part of the experience.
To top it all off, as we were gathering everyone to head back, a huge rainbow appeared over the park—an unexpected and fitting end to a full day of fun, teamwork, and shared memories.
