The Wenatchee Sportsmen's Association will be hosting a “North Central Washington Youth Hunting & Fishing Day” on Saturday, September 16, from 10 to 3 p.m. This is a FREE EVENT at the NCW Gun Club (2740 Guns Club Rd., E. Wenatchee).
Activities: fly tying and casting, fi****ms safety, hunter education, habitat conservation, local wildlife education, wild game processing, backcountry necessities, duck, elk and turkey calling.
The Washington Department of Fish & Wildlife will be there with their bear dog. We will have opportunities for the youth to participate in fly casting, trap shooting, target shooting as well as archery.
