Never Go Back Laurie's Legacy This is an all volunteer non-profit organization formed to raise awareness, mandate the Lethality Assessment Program, and help victims of Domestic Violence

On May 29th, 2015 my sister Laurie and her friend Barb returned to Laurie's former home to retrieve some of her belongings where her estranged husband resides. Before they were able to leave, he murdered both women and then committed su***de. So many things in so many ways have failed these 2 women that need to be addressed and changed. ontacted several government officials on various occasions and had they used the Lethality Assessment tool the 2 women could be alive today. My brother Mike and I immediately sprung into action donating all her furniture, clothing and personal care items to our local DV shelter. It was then that we decided there are more women out there just like our sister. Living in the same conditions. Afraid to leave, afraid to tell someone, afraid to speak up. That's when we created Never Go Back- Laurie's Legacy. It is our intention to honor these 2 women while helping others.
