Mushrooms - Psychedelic Mushrooms contain psilocybin and can be viewed as a natural substance but poses significant risks to developing brains. Regular use during adolescence may affect memory, learning, and attention, and can trigger schizophrenia in at-risk teens. High doses can trigger anxiety, panic attacks, and severe psychological trauma. Psychedelic mushrooms are sometimes sold in chocolate or gummy form, which can be easily mistaken for candy by children.

Medication Safety - It is important to keep medications out of the reach of young people and dispose of them properly, so they do not end up in unintended hands. There are 14 Take It to the Box locations available to dispose of medications every day throughout Allegany County. Ni****ne Pouches - Most ni****ne pouches expose the user to more ni****ne than ci******es. Ni****ne pouches do not expose the user to smoke, tar, and aerosol like smoking or va**ng, but is not harmless. Ni****ne pouches can damage the mouth and ni****ne stresses the cardiovascular system. Many flavors in ni****ne pouches contain the same chemicals as flavors in e-ci******es. Ni****ne pouches are not approved by the FDA to help people quit smoking or va**ng.

Kratom is a plant from southeast Asia and sold as an herbal supplement. Many of these products contain 7-OH, which is a synthetic highly potent opioid derivate. Which is up to 13 times more potent than morphine, acting as a dangerous, addictive substance linked to severe withdrawal, overdose, and fatal respiratory depression.
