Denis was a long time tenant at Wellsville Woods. We are going to miss him so much; his English accent, always sharing treats to staff and tenants. He loved to get spiffed up to go play cards every Wednesday! A great person we are fortunate to have met. Love and prayers to his family and friends.

Denis was born in the United Kingdom, and became a US citizen in 1981. He was well known in the Merriam Heights community for his humor and social nature. Services are planned for his 95th birthday April 13 in Brockport, Baker-Swan Funeral Home has been entrusted to his final affairs. Read his full obituary, linked into the comments:

Wellsville, NY – Frank M. Blue, 84, of 90 Howard Street, passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2023 at home, with his loving wife by his side. Alfred Housing Committee mourns the loss of our long time Gardner Heights tenant(27 years), Pat “The Captain” McKinley. We will miss his monthly visits to our office to chat and seeing his smiling face around the apartment building. He will truly be missed. Rest easy Captain.
