Adaptive riding starts at our Wellsville location this week! We are so excited to have our riders back.

The horses (and interns and volunteers) have been hard at work preparing for trail rides for our adaptive riders in July, thanks to an amazing grant from the Utah Outdoor Recreation Youth Engagement!

We have two openings for our summer hippotherapy session! We have a session at 10am and 12pm available.

The term hippotherapy refers to how licensed occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language pathology professionals use evidence-based practice and clinical reasoning in the purposeful manipulation of equine movement as a therapy tool to engage sensory, neuromotor, and cognitive systems to promote functional outcomes.
Best practice dictates that licensed professionals integrate hippotherapy into the patient’s plan of care, along with other therapy tools and/or strategies.

Clients are managed by the Sorenson Center for Clinical Excellence. Please email [email protected] to inquire about signing up.

Sessions are eligible to be covered by insurance, with a $30 barn fee per session.

The team did great representing our mission at the Richmond Black and White Days Parade yesterday!!! All the horses behaved and the riders showed excellent partnership.

We are getting our Wellsville herd ready for some trail rides for our adaptive riders this summer! ☀️

The horses have been loving getting out of the arena and also enjoying a break from heavy programming and classes this May.
