Pennsylvania aviation continues to build momentum.

NetJets has officially launched maintenance operations at its new facility at Reading Regional Airport, marking an exciting milestone for both the airport and the broader aviation industry in the Commonwealth.

The new 30,000-square-foot hangar is the company’s largest maintenance, repair, and overhaul facility in the northeastern United States and will help support NetJets’ growing fleet while bringing additional aircraft activity, aviation services, and long-term economic benefits to the Reading region.

This investment also reinforces the importance of strong airport infrastructure and industry partnerships. As Reading Regional Airport continues to grow as a regional aviation hub, projects like this help create new opportunities for workforce development, business investment, and the continued advancement of aviation across Pennsylvania.

The AIR Act continues to gain attention across Pennsylvania. ✈️

WENY recently covered the Pennsylvania AIR Act, highlighting the proposal to create a $120 million Aviation Trust Fund to better support airports across the Commonwealth.

This legislation is about more than funding — it is about building a stronger aviation future for Pennsylvania. The AIR Act would help modernize airport infrastructure, support workforce development, strengthen safety, expand economic opportunity, and ensure aviation-generated revenue is reinvested back into aviation.

Pennsylvania’s airports play a critical role in connecting communities, supporting jobs, driving regional economies, and preparing the Commonwealth for the future of flight.
