We walked in faith and pray you will support our walk.

He desperately needed medical attention and with the incredible 100+* temps and the weekend coming we decided he couldn’t wait until we reached the goal.

I’m glad we didn’t, because he not only suffering from an asthma attack which we could see, he also has pneumonia.😭. He has been started on antibiotics is parked in front of a fan and will see the vet again next week. If his lungs look better then he will be started on steroids. He needs his teeth done and his sheath cleaned also, but breathing is our priority.

He is such a Trooper, never moving while doc was examining and working on him. He pretty much told me his name was Trooper.🦄. Trooper is around 18-20 years old and has the best manners! He is such a good boy, it’s heartbreaking that he was dumped when he needed his people the most.

We know Trooper needs a couple more vet visits and we are still trying to raise for hay. The drought isn’t helping our herds bellies or Troopers breathing. We are short 6️⃣9️⃣0️⃣ for hay and we estimate 6️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ for medical and medicine for Trooper.

This sweet gelding is struggling to breathe and needs emergency veterinary care immediately. Every breath appears to be a struggle, and time is not on his side.

His story is heartbreaking.
A few years ago, he was standing in a k1ll pen, and someone stepped up to save him. Sadly, now that he needs medical care, they sent him back to the KP instead of getting him the treatment he deserves.

Now, Diamond Bar Ranch Rescue & Sanctuary has the opportunity to give him another chance—but we need your help to make it happen.

🌾 WE HATE HAVING TO ASK... BUT OUR HORSES NEED YOUR HELP. 🌾

If you've been following Diamond Bar Ranch Rescue & Sanctuary, you know we don't ask for hay very often. We do everything we can to stretch every dollar and provide for the horses in our care.

But this year has been different.

Now the drought here in our area of Oklahoma has taken a devastating toll on our pastures. The grass that would normally helps feed our rescue horses is drying up, and we're already having to feed hay much earlier than we ever expected.

The horses can't wait for rain.

Right now, we have the opportunity to purchase 30 large round bales of coastal hay, and the total cost is only 1️⃣8️⃣0️⃣0️⃣.

This isn't a luxury—it's what keeps full bellies, healthy bodies, and rescued horses safe until the pastures recover.

We wish we didn't have to ask. We know times are hard for everyone. But we also know we can't do this alone.

Every horse here has a story. They survived neglect, abandonment, abuse, the slaughter pipeline or all of them.

They rely on us every single day, and today we're asking you to help us
keep our promise to them.

Happy 3rd Birthday Dezi!🥳🥳🫏

Dezi was the first donkey baby born with DBR. If you followed us then you will remember momma Maddie came to us as a 25 yr old staved girl who took us on months of baby watch. Then Dezi was positioned wrong and HUGE. We almost lost both of them. I had to reposition and then pull him out. I was so sure we lost him, I was begging God not to take Maddie too. God in his divine grace let is keep both Maddie and Dezi🙏💙 and we are so grateful to still have them both with us today.

Please wish Dezi a happy day and many more.

Oh he had a carrot 🥕🥕 party with all his donkey friends 🥳.

We haven’t done a 5️⃣ Friday in a long time. Let’s face it they don’t usually work for us🥺, but we could really use some help. We are still paying on Vivian’s medical expenses and the horses all still need to eat so that means grain and hay and Vivian, Liberty and Star all still need milk replacer…..

So let’s see if we can get some much needed love on this 5️⃣ Friday 🙏.

Kiki has lodged a formal complaint that she isn’t getting enough social media attention. I assured her it’s only because she is still staying with auntie Sue until I can get a temporary fence up so she can meet the rest of the herd from safety over a fence. Her response was “YA SURE, just because I’m not a 22” cute turd who kisses when asked and I have a momma unlike the other girls I get forgotten 😫. Well let me show you what I can do, just call me Houdini cause I can escape without even a scratch or leaving a clue as to how. So there!🤪

Kiki is fine and once the fence was opened for her she returned to her momma Dreamer without any problems.

🆘❌ 911 EMERGENCY ❌🆘

I don’t even know what to say, other than PEOPLE ARE 💩!

Holy God the amount of pain both these boys must be in is horrendous😱😭💔. Their previous owners couldn’t even give them the respect or dignity to do the right thing and stand beside them as they crossed the bridge 😡. Instead they sent them into the pipeline never to be thought of again🤬!

These boys DESPERATELY NEED HELP NOW. They are dependent on strangers to see and help them.

I can’t imagine standing in a scary lot with strange horses AND being in so much pain I could barely walk and walking fast could cause my leg to snap😱😱😱😱😱.

We are their only chance. They are not being listed and they will ship to Canada if we don’t help them.

Their bail is low, however; the cost of dignity (human euthanasia and burial) is the same regardless of bail. Which means we need 2️⃣0️⃣0️⃣0️⃣ to give them the dignity they deserve.

Every angel needs a name as they gain their wings. It’s obvious that these boys were well cared for and had names at one time. Unfortunately, we don’t know what they were called in the past so we have named them Buckley and Brownie. They will join DBR’s heavenly herd.
