This project, years in the making, will be a huge step in revitalizing Wellston. The success of Eskridge Estates a year ago indicated that people will move to Wellston if the opportunity is there. The 24:1 area is a great place to move because it has a tight sense of community and is connected to growing job clusters throughout the region. As more jobs come to the area around the 24:1 community, the availability of affordable quality homes will be in even more demand.

Construction should begin this spring on a rehab of 186 housing units in Wellston, which were slated for demolition until the county blocked the plan.

The City of Pagedale and Pagedale Police Department recognized Equity Homes for our support of the Pagedale Festival this past September. In addition to Equity Homes’ financial support for the event, Housing Acquisition and Sales Manager Brian Krueger served as grillmaster, cooking about 1,200 hot dogs and 800 burgers. Here, Brian accepts a plaque from Pagedale Mayor E.G. Shields and Pagedale Chief of Police Anthony Huckleberry. The Pagedale Festival is one of our favorite events every year, and we love watching the way the community rallies around the event. We’re already looking forward to the next one this September!
