Tioga County 4-H Tioga County Pennsylvania 4-H Program

Making the best better! 4-H is a program for all youth between the ages of 8 and 18.

It does not matter if you live in a big city, a small town, or rural area, 4-H is everywhere! Memebers learn life skills like critical thinking, decision making, communication, problem solving, and goal setting skills. 4-H is in your community and school! Enthusiastic volunteers make 4-H available all over Tioga County. 4-H'ers choose projects that interest them, then grow and learn as they work with peers and adults to complete them. Projects include: gardening, sewing, pet care, rocketry, insects, careers, wildlife, raising large animals, cooking, creating Web sites, geographic information systems, babysitting and much more. 4-H projects involve hands-on learning, setting and achieving goals and evaluating one’s progress.

Stir it up Saturdays is making its return for 2027!

Stir It Up Saturday is a hands-on cooking adventure for 4-H'ers of all ages! Participants learn to chop, mix, stir, and sizzle their way to kitchen confidence! This year's theme is brunch, bites, and beyond.

Mark your calendar for January 23, February 13, March 13, and April 17, 2027. All Stir it up Saturdays events are virtual.

Volunteers are the backbone of the 4-H program, and we need you for another great year of 4-H! Be sure to log in to your ZSuite account to update your profile and submit this year's enrollment by January 31.

The new program year is starting now! That means it's time to to reenroll.

To get started, simply log in to your ZSuite account, update your profile, and submit this year's enrollment. Remember, you must be in active enrollment status to register for many events and opportunities, so the sooner you enroll, the better. Please allow time for your county 4-H staff to move you into active enrollment status.

Are you a current Pennsylvania 4-H shooting sports r***e instructor?

Join the shooting sports training team for the 2026 PA 4-H regional instructor recertification training in the r***e discipline. This training is designed for currently certified r***e Instructors seeking recertification.

The event will be held on November 14 in Potter County.

Calling all animal science volunteers!

Volunteers working with all types of animal projects are invited to join us on November 10 at 6:30 p.m. to learn about the new 4-H Animal Science Club-Level Education Program.

During this session, you will receive:
• An overview of the program
• Information on newly developed lessons and resources
• Opportunities to ask questions and learn how these resources can support your club!

🚨Mark your calendar for State Leadership Conference!

Registration for this event will open on ✨Friday, October 9 at 5pm✨ and close on December 1.

SLC will be held from February 5-7, 2027 at the Penn Stater Hotel and Conference Center. The event is open to 4-H teens, ages 13 to 18.

You must be in active status to register, so be sure to reenroll as soon as possible if you plan to attend!
