Calling all Kayakers, Boaters and Lake Front Property Owners. As we prepare for another wonderful liquid lake season on Lake Algonquin, please be aware that we have had quite a bit of debris come down river and into our lake this past Winter/Spring. We would like to ask for your assistance and ask if you are out and about on the water, please mark any large notable hazards so we could work in conjunction with the Town to have any hazards removed this spring to keep everyone safe. If you have any debris floating along you waterfront, we would ask if you could please remove to keep the lake free from floating debris. IF you have anything larger than you can pull out floating close to shore, would be wonderful if you could tie it up so it doesn't float away and become a hazard in another area of the lake. This will allow for possible removal at a later date.

Thank you, Friends of Lake Algonquin

To all who have served and sacrificed protecting this great country. God Bless you and your families 🙏🏼🇺🇸🗽

The Snowman is still standing as of 3:30 PM today. Looks like he might make it through Lent. How much longer will he be standing? Not much ice left. Hard to believe he’s made it this long. 👍⛄️🌊

Snowman was standing strong last night. Onto a new month with this guy. When will he go for a swim? ⛄️
