What happens when ordinary people decide to do something extraordinary? 🌍💚

This April, the LitterPic community united across the globe to remove a staggering 7,622 pounds of litter from our environment! That is nearly 4 TONS of trash that will never harm our wildlife or pollute our communities.

From monumental, multi-ton cleanups in Cameroon and the UK, to beautiful coastal sweeps in Maine, all the way down to a single, meaningful pound collected near a bridge in Topsham—this is proof that every single action counts. 📍 Our April Global Footprint:

20 lbs at Stumpy Creek Boat Landing, NC
1 lb in Surrey, BC, Canada
And dedicated members in Iraq & Nassau County, NY, who were on the ground and ready to act!

I helped clean Switzerland, starting with this bridge! Making Geneva a little brighter, one piece of litter at a time! Even a small effort like collecting about 1 lb of trash can make a difference in keeping our country’s beautiful. I love seeing the available trash containers; when you give people the opportunity to do the right thing, most of the time they will!

The weather outside was frightful in January, but the LitterPic community is a force of nature! ❄️ Despite the record cold, volunteers across the globe rolled up their sleeves to remove 1,275 pounds of litter from our shared home.

From 820 lbs in Guiseley, UK, to the shores of Portugal and our local streets in Maine and North Carolina, every pound matters.

New AI Storytelling: Our new AI integration takes the heavy lifting out of post-writing. By using your cleanup photos, location, and litter weight, the app now generates unique, inspirational descriptions to help you share your impact with the world.

Personalized Profiles You can now add optional details to your profile, including your first name, city, state, and birthday, to better connect with your local community.

Performance & Reliability: Polished backend architecture for faster data syncing. Minor UI refinements to the post-creation flow.
