BBR FORM DEADLINE- JULY 1st!

Submit your Born, Bred, and Raised in Lorain County forms on our website. To exhibit in a BBR class at fair, you must submit this form online and you MUST also enter your species' BBR class on your Junior Fair Entry Form.

Please see the Junior Fair book for your specific class rules and class number. (Animal species eligible: Market Beef, Market Beef Feeders, Market Lambs, Market Boer Goats, & Market Dairy Goats)

Forms must be submitted by July 1st.

SWINE EXHIBITORS 📣🆘

Google form is live again. We hit our storage limit last night at 11:45pm when the massive wave of entries came in and it shut our form down.

We fixed it and we are live again! 👏👏 If you received a Google form note “The form has been closed.” - resubmit your registration!

Deadline for swine registration is due by midnight tonight!

🚨 Reminder for Swine Exhibitors! 🐷
(MANDATORY REQUIREMENT)
The possession deadline is June 1st. To remain eligible to exhibit, ALL swine exhibitors MUST be in compliance by this date.
✅ Required for Compliance:

All hogs must have 840 tags in place
A clear photo of each hog with the tag visible must be uploaded
The swine registration form must be fully completed on our website

⚠️ Exhibitors who do not meet these requirements by June 1st will not be eligible to show. There are no exceptions.

840 tags can be picked up at the Extension Office during posted hours.

📣MAY MEETING RECAP!

🚜Every year we do a scavenger hunt on the grounds to show our kids the important spots they may have to find during fair week! Fun interaction with departments and trying to find the hidden spots!

🐷Swine Exhibitors!
Swine registration is due June 1. We only have about 56 exhibitors that have registered their animals and tags. (About a third of what we normally have!) Please get signed up! The form is on our website.

Tonight was laid back as we gear up for our summer meetings. We appreciate all the kiddos attending meetings and showing up for each other.

Reminder for Swine Exhibitors! 🐷

Possession deadline is June 1st. You must have 840 Tags in your hogs with a photo uploaded to the swine registration form that is found on our website.

840 tags are located at the extension office during their posted available hours.

Helpful tip…

Do not wait until the last minute!  Last year we ran into the issue of many asking questions and needing assistance while not realizing they were sending those questions and emails in on a weekend (June 1st is a Monday!) and no one is in the extension office nor checking FB every second.

Please fill out the form before June 1st and give yourself enough time if those questions or issues arise.

Today was a success!

Goat and sheep weigh-in followed by a solid work session with cleaning up our barns and finishing off the plaques for the pens in the expo.

28 members and assistants showed up to get the job done! 💪
