We have red cabbage ready to pick in our raised garden. Help yourself to a couple of leaves from each plant. Also, let me know personally if you would like any black-eyed Susans - who knew they reseeded themselves so prolifically!

We still have some brand-new ladies shoes size 7ish and an adult potty chair that is like new.

This morning there was a brand new Mr Coffee, Coffee Press by our door still in its original packaging from China. There was no name or address on it. We don't know if it was a donation or if it was left there by mistake.

Pray for Venezuela.
Salvation Army relief teams continue to support families affected by the recent earthquake. Thanks to generous donor support, teams are providing food, essential supplies, protective gear for rescue workers, and emotional and spiritual care while working with local partners to ensure aid reaches communities with the greatest needs.

A senior lady on Mosher Road has two trees, one with its roots exposed is falling on the other making it dangerous to the house and driveway. She needs it down and can't afford to pay a lot. Please respond before 4 pm if you can help. 440-647-7600

In 1964 President Eisenhower proclaimed a National Salvation Army Week to remind people of all the help that we provide. These days it is observed in May during the week following Mothers" Day, 11-17/2026.

Our committee is working hard to promote it by advertising in the windows of empty stores (thank you Vickie Rutherford and Katie Woods).
Also thanks to DaNell's Pizza for hosting our paper kettles for which people donate $1, it is then posted with their name on it. (thank you to DaNell's and Andrea Cuson).
Also, thanks to Four Hearts for hosting a basket to accept donations of dish soap, liquid detergent, TP, cleaning supplies etc throughout the month of May.
You may have noticed that Dimitris have a permanent kettle on their counter for which we truly thank them. Please feed it when you can.
Now that I am really getting into the thankful mood, I want to also mention SLCAD our wonderful landlord's who give us space and help us in lots of other ways and to GLWB who graciously donate our internet. Also to Tim and Sue Honey of Cricket Hill Farm who keep us supplied with fresh eggs (I boil one each day for breakfast!).
Thank you to our volunteer committee members, Katie Woods, Bridget Derrick, Andrea Cuson, Kenyon and Betsy Glor; to our wonderful treasurer of more than thirty years, Dan Gossman, and to his hard-working staff.
