For all the Marching Band and Wellington Choir kids going to Florida next year...PLEASE SIGN UP FOR 1 SHIFT! We really appreciate the sign ups for the set up times but we need more than just 2 people to run it for 3 days. If most of the kids sign up for 1 four hour shift, everything will be covered. All funds raised are going directly towards paying for Florida.

Good morning Duke Nation!! The band is excited to announce that we are holding a Rummage Sale the weekend of the village garage sales. We are asking for any of your unwanted stuff, that we could sell for donations to raise money for our Florida trip next spring. We are NOT having tables available for other sellers, we are just asking for donations. Clothes, household goods, furniture that is in nice shape (please don't drop off a couch that Fido chewed up). Whatever is left at the end of the weekend will be donated, but we hope to sell it all!! If you have items you want to donate but are unable to drop it off, please message us and we'll see what we can do to help you out. All the info is on the flyer below. Please spread the word! 😀

ATTN ALL 7TH-11TH GRADE BAND MEMBERS!!!!!

It's Florida Time! If your child is planning on being in the marching band next year ('26/'27) please view the documents and links below to correctly register for the Florida Trip! Registration is due by this Friday, May 22nd but, your first payment is not due until next Friday May 29th. The travel agency needs a head count ASAP so please click on the link and follow the instructions. You are responsible for the first 2 payments. After that, the boosters will be contributing what we can but, the actual amount will not be known until we are closer to the final payments.

Good afternoon. Just a heads, the boosters meeting for tonight has been rescheduled for next Tuesday the 19th at 6:00. Sorry for the late notice but there were several people who couldn't be there. We will voting on our board positions. President, Vice President, Secretary and Treasurer are all up for grabs. Hope to see you there. Thank you for your understanding.

What a wonderful night of music! Last night was our Annual Festival of Bands at the high school. Our 6th grade band, MMS 7th/8th grade band and our high school concert band serenaded us with music from Jurassic Park, Hamilton and the Mandolorian, 50s jazz and pop and then they all combined for a final Summit Fanfare. We also said a final farewell to our seniors Journee, Landon and Shawn. They have big plans for their future and we wish them all the best! Thank you Mr. Pope and Mr. Lehman for all your hard work and thanks to all of you for your continued support. We'll see you on Memorial Day in Brighton and Wellington.

I am so grateful to be part of the music community. The way musicians support others, especially the kids, is great. Our band is in the midst of fundraising for our Florida trip next year and I cant imagine waking up to missing instruments while down there to perform. We hope the theives are caught quickly and all the instruments are returned. In the mean time, thank you to all the local music shops who stepped up and helped the Ashland High School Bands to perform at Disney. Good Luck!

One of the pillars of the mission of the Ashland Symphony Orchestra is to “promote music education.” The A*O stands strong with the Ashland High School music department as they deal with the burglary and theft of students’ instruments from the equipment trailer. The band and orchestra are in Orlando for spring break and sometime during the night of 3/28-3/29 the trailer was broken into and instruments taken. As we learn more about how the A*O community can support these student musicians, we will share that with you. For now, please keep the students, teachers, and chaperones in your thoughts and prayers. The local music stores and vendors in Orlando have graciously loaned the students instruments so that they can continue to perform at the Magic Kingdom.
