Renew Now's annual recap program, held on December 21, 2024, was a powerful celebration of the organization's remarkable achievements, including the distribution of 5,000 jackfruit trees, made possible by the invaluable support of Green Echo of Bangladesh and Global Citizens for Humanity of the USA, thereby meeting 50% of its ambitious target of 10,000 trees. The program passionately emphasized the vital role of electric vehicles and solar panels in combating global warming.

Renew Now also presented the organization's financial reports for the year. The organization expressed its heartfelt gratitude to donors for their ongoing support of its tree planting initiatives.
The program concluded with uplifting musical performances by the participants.

Dear friends , I am delighted to report that our project in Kurigram, Bangladesh, initiated in 2021, has successfully achieved its objective of distributing 1000 beetle nut trees to 100 families, with each family receiving 10 trees. This project was completed in early 2023. Thanks to our partnerships with Green Echo from Kurigram, Bangladesh, Global Citizen for Humanity from USA and Renew Now from USA. Recently, we conducted a survey and I shared photographs from the survey. The project's success can be attributed to both planting trees and their survival rate and ability to thrive. We are delighted to observe the trees flourishing.

Following the successful completion of the distribution of 1000 beetle nut trees, we were encouraged to undertake another massive initiative to distribute 10,000 jackfruit trees among school students. We have completed distributing almost 5000 trees so far. I will post another report shortly.

Thanks to all the contributors for being with us throughout the journey and your continued support for the future.

Dear community members, join us on December 22, Sunday morning to revel in the ocean breeze. We'll participate in a beach cleanup initiative to mitigate the crippling impact of plastic pollution on our planet. Please bring your kids, so they can earn volunteer credits and become the change-makers of tomorrow.

Please avoid single use plastic.
For last 20 years, I have been refilling my metal water bottle and taking it to work.

For last 5 years I have been doing my groceries from Aldi. Aldi do not give you a plastic bag. You have to bring your own reusable bag.

Please mention 2 habits you changed or can change to be in the side of team planet.

I want to extend my utmost gratitude towards each and every one of you for joining our Zoom meeting.

As a result of our compelling meeting, we have decided to plant 10,000 Jackfruit trees in four extensive phases in various parts of Kurigram Bangladesh. The trees will be dispersed among school children, thereby promoting environmental awareness right from a young age; moreover, we also intend to show a movie that highlights the adverse effects of global warming in conjunction with how we can prevent them. This, we believe, will enhance the knowledge and understanding of our youth about the dangers of global warming.

We will also distribute waste baskets to classrooms made of bamboo or Caine to emphasize the necessity of using natural products that will be biodegradable. Our objective is to inspire cleanliness and reinforcing the cleanliness of our immediate surroundings to further catalyze environmental awareness.

Lastly, I would like to mention that this project would not have been possible without everyone's collective financial contributions along with their committed effort to this cause.
