New England Devo

New England Devo This is a Junior Cycling Team that helps young people of all ages and levels learn the aspects of the sport of bike racing.

This page is dedicated to the Team and the kids that have chosen to learn all about the sport of bike racing. This team was started to help kids that live in the New England area get into the sport of bike racing. We wanted to not only get them in the sport but offer continual help to them as they grow, to realize their dreams of reaching the top of the sport. Kids on this team learn every aspect

of the sport from training, nutrition, public speaking, teamwork, and they also learn to work with promoters to learn what goes into putting on a race. Together we learn the meaning of "Team" and as each junior grows they get the chance to help younger juniors, mentoring them as they themselves were. Our team does a number of fundraisers to help ease the cost of the sport. We are grateful to have wonderful parents that help put these fundraisers on. We raced hard, got in some breaks. We learned a lot from our convoy driver Chris ‘mind the kerbs hai” McElhinney.
