Student Philanthropy Committee SPC Mission: Engage and educate students about how gifts from alum, parents, and friends shape their Wellesley experience. Li ’16

SPC is part of the Wellesley Fund, which provides day-to-day support for every aspect of the College. Wellesley by the Numbers:

*60% of students receive aid directly from the College. Even if you didn't receive aid, your education was subsidized by donors to the College.

*Alumnae and student participation rates account for five percent of the ranking criteria in US News and World Report.

*Compe

titive faculty salaries ensure Wellesley remains among the top three schools for professors.

*The endowment provides approximately one-third of the general budget each year. The rest of our income comes from tuition, fees, grants, and gifts.

*Strong alumnae, parent, and student support shows prospective students and incoming first-years that we care about Wellesley's future. Meet the SPC!
