Wellesley Youth Hockey offers a fun, supportive, and development-focused environment for girls of all ages and abilities.

We field teams at every level — U8, U10, U12, U14, and U19 (half-season) — with opportunities for players to grow their skills, build confidence, and compete.

Our girls program includes:
• Weekly team practices with USA Hockey–certified coaches
• Skills sessions to support individual development
• League play (MYCGHL) with competitive and balanced matchups
• Goalie training
• Opportunities to participate in tournaments and special clinics throughout the season
• A strong, welcoming team culture that builds friendships on and off the ice

Girls also have the flexibility to play on both a co-ed team and a girls team.

Whether you’re new to hockey or a returning player, WYHA Girls Hockey is a great place to play. Open to neighboring towns!

Girls hockey is one of the fastest-growing sports in the country, and we’re proud to be part of it.

At WYHA, we offer all-girls teams from U8 through U19—providing a safe, supportive, and fun environment for players to grow throughout their entire youth hockey journey.

No tryouts are required for our girls teams—we’re committed to making sure every girl who wants to play has a place on the ice. And development takes on a whole new meaning with partnerships with programs like the Boston Fleet.

Register by Friday, March 20 to guarantee your spot for next season. Players from nearby towns without all-girls programs are also welcome.

Registration is now open for the 2026–27 Wellesley Youth Hockey season.

WYHA offers full-season travel teams for U8 Girls and coed Mites through Bantams competing in the VHL, plus Fall Midgets/U19. We also field full-season Girls U10, U12, and U14 teams, along with half-season U19 competing in the MYCGHL.

Players benefit from:
• Weekly practices with USA Hockey–certified coaches
• Weekly skills sessions led by Driscoll
• Dedicated goalie training
• Our annual in-house tournament
• Additional development opportunities throughout the season, including body contact clinics, girls clinic with the Boston Fleet, and more
• Home ice at Boston Sports Institute

Join a great youth hockey community and continue building skills, confidence, and friendships on and off the ice.

Open to players from neighboring towns that do not offer similar programming.

Wellesley Youth Hockey is once again offering a Winter Midget/JV team, open to all 9th–12th grade players from Wellesley and beyond!

Perfect for you if:
• Tryouts didn’t go the way you hoped
• Your school doesn’t offer a varsity program
• You’re playing a different winter sport but want to stay on the ice
• You just want more hockey this winter

Eligibility:
You must be in high school and not rostered on a Varsity hockey team.
(And yes, 9th-grade Bantams — you can still skate in the Valley League!)

Program Highlights:
• 1 team practice/week at BSI
• 1 skills session/week with Driscoll
• Sunday AM games at NESC
• Strong competition in the JV Lower Division
• 10 regular-season games + playoffs
• Pro-rated tuition available for 9th-grade Bantams

Season runs early December → March.

Congrats to our 3 teams who brought home some hardware from tournaments in November!

U14 Girls went undefeated and won their championship game in Jay Peak in an OT shootout on Nov. 23!

Sq**rt 2 and Peewee 1 both brought home bronze from Lake Placid on Nov. 23.
