📸🌺 June Photo Contest - Summer Blooms 🌸📸

Hello photographers and aspiring photographers! This is Patti Nielsen. Jim Freyburger and I thought it would be fun to launch a monthly FOW photo contest to showcase the creativity in our community.
Each month, we’ll announce a new theme and invite you to submit your best photo! Whether you use a professional camera or your phone, all skill levels are welcome - this is all about creativity and community.
📷 June's Theme: Summer Blooms - Any flowers around our little community - see the examples in this post. To keep it fair, we won't be announcing names of photographers until the end.
We’re keeping this contest Welaka-focused, so entries are open to residents of Welaka, Sportsman’s Harbor, and Beecher’s Point. If you live nearby and are very involved in our community, feel free to submit. We may include a few at our discretion. We appreciate everyone helping us keep it Welaka-friendly 😊
Get out there and have fun! Have something you've already shot, email it in to us.
📩 How to Enter:
• You must email your photo original to: [email protected]
• Include your name and an optional short caption
• Submit by the each month.
Throughout the month, we will send reminders and post the submitted photos here to Facebook.
📅 How Voting Works:
On the ✱last day of each month, We’ll post all submitted
photos that qualify (one from each person, each month) together in one Facebook post. We will give everyone 5 days to vote.
To qualify the photo must be in or very close to Welaka and large enough to print. Keeping it the original size is best.
The photo with the most likes will be our monthly winner!
🎉 Any photos that didn't win can be re-entered another month.
We will announce the winner on the last day of the month if the them allows
There may not be a physical prize, but we’ll all win by enjoying the incredible talent in our community and spreading a little extra positivity. Have a question or concern? Please email us at [email protected]
