Payette River Valley Master Gardeners Volunteers in Idaho's Gem, Payette, and Washington County are encouraged to post and use this page to help diganose and market local Horticulture programs.

We are Volunteers of the University of Idaho and our individual Counties. We are knowledgable Educators ready to assist, teach, and beautify our local communities. We are the first defense in the identification of Idaho invading pests and notify local government agencys on pest outbreaks. We promote sustainable practices in pest managemnt, pesticide reduction and safety, and Water quality. We help

develop local food supplies through our education and community classes. We reduce landfill waste by teach composting methods for home gardeners. We conserve natural resources through recommendations of water-wise plant material and proper irrigation practices. We help Communities Grow Better.
