Spring Flag Football registration opens Monday 1/9 and will be open until 2/16.
We hope and pray that you will consider joining us for this fun-filled season!

Who? Students in grades 1-5

Where? Weddington Methodist Church fields

When? Saturdays starting in March

Cost: $135

The teams will be CO-ED and divided based on number of registrants. The goal is to offer two leagues; 1st/2nd grade and 3rd-5th grade. This is subject to change based on the amount of people who register for each age group. Evaluations for team placement will be on Saturday, February 18th.

Our Upward team is excited to announce our flag football league this Spring. Our goal is to create an atmosphere where your child grows in faith, friendship, and football knowledge.

There’s still time to register your child, if you haven’t already!

Hi everyone!
Praying each of you have had a wonderful Christmas.

The upward team is excited to announce our Spring flag football league for students in 1st-6th grade.

•Evaluations - February 26th
•Season - March 5th through May 7th
•Saturday only commitments for practice and games! Players will practice for 30 minutes and then have an hour game.

We hope that you can join us and bring a friend!

Our prayer is each player will discover a love for Jesus through sports during this season!

We will not be having a basketball season this year. We will be looking to start an upward flag football season this spring at WUMC. We will be getting information out soon.

We are going to open up the basketball camp to rising 1st through rising 5th grade. It will be July 26th-29th from 9am-1pm. Hope everyone can join us for a fun week.

Hey there! I hope everyone is having a great summer so far. We are excited to announce that we will be holding an Upward basketball camp this summer July 26th-29th.

The camp will be for rising 1st graders through rising 3rd graders. It will be 9am to 12pm. Please comment if you are interested and tag a friend to help spread the word.

Due to the COVID-19 restrictions and keeping the safety of our players and families as top priority, we are canceling the Weddington UMC summer basketball camp. We are looking forward to the fall and hopefully having a normal regular season. We will give more information about sign ups and evaluations closer to the fall. Hope everyone stays safe and has a great summer.
