Join us June 16–18 for three days of movement, learning, and connection on the Jackson County Greenway. Enjoy educational programs, free health screenings, and opportunities to connect with local organizations and resources dedicated to community well-being.

Let's BioBlitz! What's a BioBlitz???

A BioBlitz is a communal framework where volunteers, families, and naturalists come together during a specific window of time to find and document as many wild species as possible in a designated area.

Between now and August 31, 2026, help us discover the diversity of life on our Greenway. Download iNaturalist to your device and start capturing photos and information. Use the QR code below to locate our project in iNaturalist!

We will post weekly updates on what you all are finding!

Join us for Wellness Week on the Greenway 🌿

June 16–18, we’ll be celebrating with three days of activities focused on nature, movement, learning, and community. Enjoy guided walks, wellness programs, fitness activities, and outdoor experiences for all ages.

Greenway Closure Notice: Beginning Friday, May 8 at 5 pm, the Jackson County Greenway will be temporarily closed while maintenance crews complete necessary repairs to help ensure a safer experience for all users.

The area will remain closed until the scheduled work is completed. Jackson County Parks & Recreation staff anticipate that the project will take one to two days to finish, depending on weather conditions.
