The Benefits of Friendship
This Sunday we’re going to look at some practical aspects of fellowship, and the negative results of being independent. It’s especially applicable to our current condition as a country. We pride ourselves on being independent. However, it’s possible our independence has done more harm than good, especially in the church. Join us this Sunday at 10:00 am as we study Ecclesiastes 4:7-12

Living in Light of God’s Judgment
One of the hardest things to understand is injustice. Especially when it happens to you personally. What’s worse is when the person gets away with it. And then we say those 3 words, “That’s not fair!” King Solomon not only witnessed this in his day, but assures us that no one will escape judgment. Join us this Sunday at 10:00 am as we study Ecclesiastes 3:16-22 together.

Working to Live or Living to Work?
How do you view work? Is it a necessary evil? Do you do it because you have to do it? Do you endure it or enjoy it? Someone once said, “Find a job you love and you’ll never have to work another day in your life.” But finding jobs we love are virtually impossible. However, Solomon gives us a way that we can still enjoy the job we have without loving it. Find out how by joining us this Sunday at 10:00 am as we study Ecclesiastes 2:17-26.

Hedonism: The Search for Pleasure and Happiness
I once saw a bumpersticker that read, “He who dies with the most toys wins.” But I thought, he who dies with the most toys still dies. The Pharaoh’s were buried with all kinds of things they thought they could take into the afterlife. We know this because their stuff is still here. The one tries to find happiness now, the other later. Both think happiness can be bought or accumulated. But as we’ll see, we all have a void we want filled that only God can fill. Join us this Sunday at 10:00 am as we study Ecclesiastes 2:1-11.

Wisdom: Ignorance is Bliss?
According to Solomon, wisdom can be a blessing and a curse. It’s good to be wise and make the right decisions, but it’s difficult to watch others waste their lives by making the wrong ones. Wisdom can bring sorrow and grief. But, is it better then to be ignorant rather than wise? Join us this Sunday at 10:00 Am as we study Ecclesiastes 1:12-18; 2:12-16.

Watching and Waiting For Jesus
Ever since Jesus rose from the dead and ascended into heaven, the church has lived expectantly for his return. We’ve been waiting, but have we been watching? Have we been living our lives in light of Jesus’ soon return? Until he returns, what should we be doing? Join us this Sunday at 10:00 AM as we look for the answer from 1 Thessalonians 5:1-11.
